Beaches Almeria Cost de Almeria

Here in Almeria, Spain we have some of the best cleanest beaches in Spain. From the sheltered bay of Cala Cerrada near Sna Juan de los Terreros to the long sandy open beach of Vera Playa. Mojacar has several kilometres of clean sandy beaches. Playa de los Muertos just outside Carboneras is quite spectacular and has been used in the film Treasure Island. The natural park of the Cabo de Gata has some fantastic remote beaches very well worth the walk to get to some of these. Roquetas de Mar Aguadulce also have well maintained beaches which are blue flag accredited with active life saver guards and red cross facilities.

Cala de Mónsul Cabo de Gata

One of the nicest beaches in the Cabo de Gata with some wide open sand and several little coves. The sand is fine and the sea usually calm. There are no bars or restaurants on the beach so take some supplies, a parasol and the sun block. One of Cabo de Gata’s smaller and remote beaches. Coarse sand and pebbles, tranquil waters perfect for diving.Pequeña cala de piedras que pertenece al Parque Natural Cabo de Gata-Níjar. Acceso bastante fácil en coche por un camino sin asfaltar. Sin servicios, muy tranquila e ideal para practicar el submarinismo.
