In Almería, near the capital the fantastic golf course of 18 holes Championship Alborán Golf lies on the new residencial and touristic resort of El Toyo, at a few yards from the beach, next to the natural background of Cabo de Gata and immersed in an unique semidesertic environment.
Alborán Golf, whose design has been developed by the prestigious golf arquitect Ramon Espinosa, has been the headquarters of Almería 2005 Mediterranean Games last summer.
It is located at 10 km from the capital of Almería along the road N-344 and only at five minutes from the international airport.
The highest quality standars have been demanded for the realization of this golf course, taking into account not only the excellent design by Ramón Espinosa which has housed the Mediterranean Games players as well as the amateur who want to play the whole year, but also the fulfilment of the golf course execution project in which these demands are specified. Moreover, it includes the last novelties according to the rules of the American golf association (USGA) in the matter of golf courses design. It has been developed under an exhaustive quality control and respect to the environment.
Alboran Golf has a round of 18 holes Championship pair 72 of 6278 metres long, an spacious driving range and different training places which will serve as golf school. The designer has managed to get an important equilibrium between the different holes, in its length as well as in its orientation and situation of the several elements that compound the golf course (bunkers, ponds, etc) in order to enjoy the game in a defiant course which is able to test our ability when playing
every hole. The 66 bunkers are strategically located along every hole so that one cannot relax at any moment.

From Murcia, exit motorway A7 to the national 344 (20 km before arrive
to Almería). Approximately 6 Km in third round turn left in
“Urbanización El Toyo”.
From Almería by A7 exit at “El Alquián - Cabo de Gata”. First round
turn left and then in the next one turn right to “Urbanización El Toyo”.
